Apple Pops - The Perfect Fall Treat

Fall is coming and apples are dropping off the trees. Which means I had to come up with more ways to eat them at the rate we are getting them. This is the perfect Fall treat for school, Halloween, and fun fall parties! They are perfect on a tray for a party or wrapped up in a silicon bag to give out as a favor.

Photos below will show the step-by-step details for how to get your pops made just right!

  1. Decide on toppings and get everything you need

  2. Tap 2 dowels just offsetting the center of apples. Using a hammer is the easiest way.

  3. Cut the outer sides and then the insides closer to the middle (this is the easiest way)

  4. Lay out apple slices on paper towels to get rid of any juices from apples

  5. Prep toppings and melt chocolate

  6. Dip apples into chocolate and lay on parchment paper

  7. Sprinkle toppings onto each apple

  8. Place in fridge until chocolate hardens

  9. Enjoy!!

Delicious Peach Cobbler

Peach season is slowly coming to an end and the last few months I have worked hard to get my peach cobbler recipe down. The testing and tasting has been so hard (wink wink) but I did it all so I can share with you!

  • 8 fresh peaches peeled, pitted & sliced into wedges (look for my quick peel tips below)

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup butter

  • 1/2 cup boiling water

Sugar Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons white sugar

  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

  2. Remove skin from peaches by placing 2-3 peaches in boiling water at a time for 30 seconds. Immediately take out and place into a bowl of ice water. The peaches will peel perfectly.

  3. Take peaches in bowl and mix with all above peach ingredients.

  4. Pour peaches into baking dish and place in oven for 10 min.

  5. Mix together topping ingredients, adding boiling water at the very end.

  6. Once peaches have cooked for 10 min drop spoonfuls of topping over them.

  7. Evenly sprinkle sugar topping over the entire pan.

  8. Place back in oven and cook for 30 minutes, once topping is golden and peaches are tender. Top with fresh whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a great dessert!
